Black & Decker BV4000 Leaf Hog 12-AMP Electric Blower/Vacuum
Customer Review: faulty product
I too had sparks flying out after a few minutes of use. Afterwards it stopped working. Very disappointed because I have an older version of it and never had such problems. I returned it and went with the Toro model. No problems yet.

Air King 3-Speed Pivoting Utility Blower with Grounded Outlets #9550/9552
Customer Review: Holy Hurricane!
The Air King 3-Speed Utility Blower 9550 is a great product! I use it to cool myself while I exercise on an elliptical trainer. I sat it in a corner...it's quite compact...turned it to low, and wow! Now I set it at medium, and it shoots a jetstream of air right at my head and upper body, from a distance of about eight feet. The head pivots higher than shown in the picture, by the way. The Air King will outblow anything in its price range and also many larger, costlier, and noisier competitors. Furthermore, it is not overly noisy, considering the volume of air involved. My only complaint is the tick-grey plastic casing, but if I were to deduct a star, I would just have to start with six in order to still have five. You could make a lot of money if you took these insides, had the shell designed by Ralph Lauren, had the ad copy written by Vornado, and then doubled the price. I would not have found this product without Amazon...thanks.
Customer Review: So far it is good
I love this style fan. I have owned many of the Stanley model but they are yellow. I wanted the grey/black so I bought this one. The cord is extra heavy duty and very long. But, the unit rattles when I move it though it works perfectly. So far I love the color and operation, but I'm concerned about the rattle when I'm moving it.

Metro Vacuum VNB-73B 1-Quart 4-Horsepower Blower Vacuum
Customer Review: Full size power in a small heavy unit
This portable vacuum cleaner has the power of the largest home vacuum cleaners. It is constructed of metal, which makes the unit heavy compared to the weak hand-held rechargable dust-busters, but the portablility of the sheer power has been very useful for us in vacuuming the interior of a car, over the glass top of a large custom fish tank, or for a focused spill of dry material. This is a highest quality, strongly and durably built, serious piece of machinery that hasn't compromised by joining the age of cheap plastic devices. You will have to pay for such quality. It is well worth it if you can afford it and if you need such a capability. Lastly, you will need an extension cord with this unit since the attached cord is less than one foot long.
Customer Review: Its pretty good...
Heres what I like: small compact and portable real strong vacuum for its size real strong blower for its size a lot of attachments if you use them Heres what I dont like: Cord is like 3" without a 3 prong extension you cant use it or even plug it into the wall... only 1 speed for vacuum only 1 speed for blower cleaning the vacuum dust catch is a little messy ....best done outside Overall 4 stars....at first I was bothered by the things I dont like about it but this vacuum has grown on me. I really like the powerful blower.

Poulan Pro 25 cc Gas Blower/Vacuum #BVM200LE
On the first count, air speed, this Poulan rates very well, registering 205 mph; you'll find a lot of comparable blowers listed closer to 150 mph. Coupled with that is how much air the engine is actually moving, and of course, the more, the better. This one's rated at an impressive 400 cubic feet per minute, which, for a handheld blower like this, is a mighty lot of volume. Combined, these two details mean you've got great air power for blowing leaves, grass clippings, light debris and other yard waste.
This blower is no heavier than its competitors, but of course, once you flip the switch and start vacuuming leaves, you're carrying that weight with you, albeit with a shoulder strap. It does have a higher mulching ratio than others (16:1, turning 16 bags of leaves into one mulched bag) in its class, turning leaves and grass clippings into a nice, fine mulch for flower beds or just more compact bagged yard waste.
Starting is a bit of a chore; be prepared to pull. But that's par for the gas-powered course. Once it's going, though, it's a pleasure to use, and it beats raking and sweeping.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Customer Review: If it breaks I'll buy another one
Reviews are an intangible thing. What works good for one guy, sometimes won't work for another. With that said I'll throw in my 2 cents. I bought one of these about 3 1/2 years ago. I live in SC on a acre of land surrounded by pine trees. I use this blower almost daily (winter and summer) to blow away the pine needles from the back deck and driveway; also after cutting the lawn. I could not be more happy with it. It always starts on the first or second pull. Not that it needed it, but I changed the spark plug, just to make me feel that I was taking care of it. If it ever fails I would buy another one.

Blue Blower 1907 - Heater Unit for Blue Blower - Blue Blower - 1907
Customer Review: Sparkey
This unit works adequate for providing a small amount of warmth to a specefic area. It does not provide the intense heat of a rdiant heater; but when you are moving air as fast as the Blue Blower does, it would be difficult to heat the air more than moderately.
Customer Review: Good buy
Good buy for the price. Works well and the controls are easily accesable. Works good for assisting in drying joint compound, carpeting, thawing out pipes, etc.etc. The only downfall is the air flow from the fan it's mounted on is reduced.

Husqvarna 125BT 25.4cc 2-Stroke Gas Powered 140 MPH Backpack Blower
Customer Review: Better not Need Parts
I bought this product at Lowe's at a discount with the actual blower tube missing. Since it is just a piece of plastic my thinking was how much can the tube be for a $200 blower since the whole motor and blower unit itself was intact. The price quoted by Husqvarna dealers was $130 - $150 +!!! Husqvarna Customer No Support was a waste of time. They just say (after a 4 day wait) that the dealer can charge whatever they want and I can only get the parts from the dealer. This may be a decent product - I don't really know since I have not gotten to use it. But keep in mind that if it breaks, even with a small problem, the price of parts alone will exceed what the blower is worth.

Q-See QS2350C Weatherproof Color CCD Camera Kit With Built-in Heat Circulating Blower
Customer Review: Missing Mounting Bracket/Hardware
For the vast majority of my purchases from Amazon they have been nothing short of sterling . . . .this purchase unfortunately was the exception - purchased this along with 6 other CCD security cameras along with two DVR . . . . . did not open this box until almost three weeks later as I was installing cameras one at a time . . . . guess what ?? No bracket or hardware !!! and the box was sealed . . . . . I know Q-see makes a good product . . . but quality control on ensuring what they state us in the box . . . is ACTUALLY in the box . . . . . contacted Amazon . . . . . more to follow . . . .as I see how Amazon handles the missing parts !!
Customer Review: Q-See QS2350C Camera With Blower
The camera does not have sufficient information to tell you why or how the circulating blower works. Although it gives great video (somewhat blurred) in daylight it also gives good video in color at night for a very good distance these attributes cannot be overcome by the large size and the fact that it requires the power source (110 outlet) where the camera is located. Power cannot be supplied over a dual wire cable similar to other Q-See cameras. Would not recommend due to size and power requirement.

Customer Review: perpetual motion
i heard that a solo 470-01 green blower could run forever without gas. well it's a nice idea, the perpetual motion. sometimes i feel that the snail shape of the solo green blower is a dream, it is inclusive. the green plastic is so outrageous and high quality it is superior to even the fabled cifarelli. hot air you say...it makes air and lots of it. but it is sweet. the only problem i found is the hp can blow the muffler gasket, it's that strong. i wound mine out so far it popped, and hasn't been the same since. too much power and too much air. it is the porsche of blowers, the german answer to the garden autobahn. gets dirty inside the housing after using it for 100,000 hours. love garrido
Customer Review: Great Product!!!
This backpack blower is great for any size yard. We have over 60 oak trees and it has performed well with no issues. This has to be the easiest power tool to start. I've tried a few other backpack blowers and this one is better by far. It's not only powerful but has less noise and lasts between 2-1/2 and 3 hours on full blast with the gas/oil mix. If you are looking for a blower this is the one to get.

Customer Review: The Goldilocks of Leaf Blowers
I've had several electric leaf blowers. Most of them were fine for the yard and leaves, but if I wanted to quick sweep my garage/basement, they were so powerful that took all the dirty on the floor and just put into the air as dust, only to settle over everything. This is a small blower, 5 pounds, sounds like a hair dryer. But, on low speed it blows all of the leaves, dirt, dust, etc., out of my garage without raising a cloud of dust. On high, it makes easy work of the patio, porch, steps, drive and sidewalk. It also is good for scattered leaves and small branches from shrubbery. I would not tackle a yard full of hardwoods in the Autumn with this, I don't think the power is adequate. But to just grab this lightweight, efficient tool for weekly clean up after hedge trimming, cutting the yard, etc, it works fantastically. I recommend it.

Echo PB-251 Handheld Blower
Customer Review: GREAT ITEM !!!
After talking with a Home Depot associate about this item, I decided to start the search to buy one. I found the Echo blower on Amazon for $110.00 far below the $169.00 at Home Depot. It works great and is lightweight and easy to start. I also have a Echo trimmer which is equally as good. I would recommend the Echo line to anyone wanting a quality product. To top it off, the Echo's have a 5 year warranty. Can't beat that!
Customer Review: No more Craftsman Blower For Me
I have own over 5 blowers in the past, all Craftsman. After a couple years, it always breaks down and not worth fixing. When I bought this Echo Blower, I was amaze how quiet and powerful this blower is in my hand. It was a joy to use around my yard. I will be very interested to see how long this one last. Yes, it cost a little more, but the quality is there.

Poulan Pro Blower Trimmer Attachment #PP3000B
Customer Review: Very Handy. Not as much power as other reviews
This is a very handy blower attachment and is far better than corded blower I previously used, due to flexibility. But the power I experienced is not consistent with that of other reviewers. Also, some spots require you to hold the blower at ackward angles to get maximum velocity. This would not be necessary with separate gas blower. In hindsight, I would not purchase again since cost is very near that of a stand-alone gas blower. There's a lot to be said for having an extended windshaft at the end of a blower. My B-D electric $35 previous blower had more power.

Customer Review: Best Blower!!!
I am 11 and this is what I think. I just got a refurbished one of these and it works Great!. I would not recommend this to everyday users or people that handle large amounts of wet leaves. For the $ this is a lot of bang for you buck.
Customer Review: This Blower blows!
I'm with the few reviews that I have seen that mention the pull-string malfunctioning. I've used mine 2-3 times before the pull-string stopped going in. I just came back from my garage where I tried to figure out how to fix it but it has so many different types of screws and in hard to get places that I gave up and decided it wasn't worth the effort. This blower blows. It was tough to start but that was never an issue, it simply failed and only after a few uses. worthless garbage.

Black & Decker BV2500 12-AMP Electric Blower/Vacuum/Mulcher
Customer Review: Excellent tool for the money
Although my BV2500 has developed the major problem cited in many reviews,it took more than 10 years of high volume leaf vacuuming before it failed. Had 1/2 acre with many trees (60 plus) now have 1/3 acre with several. It did as good a job as any homeowner line of tools could be expected to. No tears in the shoulder bag although 99% of the time I use the leaf collection system and no noticable impeller wear (of course I didn't try to vacuum any items that it wasn't intended for (rocks large twigs etc.), Silly old me, I try to use a tool for what it is intended (leaves). Will I buy another? You bet I just ordered one today, and if it only lasts several years I'm still way ahead, at $54.00 Amazon) no tax and free delivery. Use it for what it is and take care of it as you would all your other tools.
Customer Review: Mulching? What mulching?
Earlier reviews complained about difficulty in finding a button for mulching. I guess they were right; I couldn't find one. The instructions just say the leaves will be mulched as they go through the impeller. After vacuuming a bunch of leaves and dumping them into a recycle bin, I couldn't really see any evidence of mulching. The blower and vacuum work very well, however. Don't make the mistake of trying to vacuum leaves from loose dirt; you'll suck up a lot of dirt. Blow the leaves into a pile and then vacuum them. Still, I like this tool. It's much quieter and easier to use than my gas blower.
